how to determine your face shapeHave you ever wondered how to determine your face shape? There are several factors that can help you determine your face shape. The shape of your face determines everything from the glasses you wear to your accessories. Have you ever wondered why a certain haircut or makeup look gorgeous on a celebrity but not on you? Well, it is because haircuts and makeup depend on your face shape as well!  N°1 Forehead: Heart-shaped faces, or inverted triangles, are widest at the forehead and gradually taper towards the chin. Cheekbones:If your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, then you have a diamond face shape. Jaw: Your jaw is the widest point of your face if you have a triangular or pear face shape. Proportion: If your forehead, jaw, and cheekbones are all proportionate, then likely your face shape is either oval, square or round. N°2 Pointed: If your chin is angled and your jaws meet at a distinctive point, you have a heart-shaped face. Square: If you have a strong jaw line, you probably have a square face shape. If your jaw line is not very strong, you may have a diamond or triangle face shape. Rounded: You probably have an oval or round face shape if you have a rounded jaw. N°3 Shorter: You can measure your face by drawing an imaginary line horizontally below the eyes and vertically from the top of your head through the nose and towards the chin. If the horizontal to vertical ratio is 1 to 1, you have a round face.
Standard: The standard face is usually longer than wide, so if the horizontal to vertical ratio is 1 to 1 and a 1/2, that's the average shape. Longer: You may have an oblong face if your lower half is longer than average. This means your horizontal to vertical proportion is more than 1 to 1 and a 1/2. |
